With Obedience Comes Blessings

Obedience to the Lord is not a burden—it’s a pathway. When we choose to follow His voice and align our steps with His will, something beautiful happens within us. Our hearts settle. Our minds quiet. Peace begins to take root in places where worry once lived. Scripture reminds us again and again that obedience is not about earning God’s love; it’s about walking in the fullness of the life He desires for us. As we surrender our plans, trust His leading, and respond to His Word, we discover blessings that flow not only around us, but deep within us. Today, I want to reflect on this truth and share several Scriptures that reveal the joy and peace found in living a life of obedience. Deutoronomy 28:1-14 Obedience opens God's storehouse of Blessings. 2 Chronicles 16:9 God will strengthen the heart of the obedient person. Esther 4:14 God has called you to obedience for such a time as this. Psalm 15 Obedient people dwell in the presence and peace of God. Psalm 24 Obedience in what you say, what you do and what you think leads to holiness and Blessings from God. Isaiah 55 Obedience brings your soul satisfaction, delight and a new life. Hosea 10:12 Obedience reaps the fruit of unfailing love and brings showers of righteousness. Malachi 3:8-10 Being obedient givers will open God's storehouse of Blessings. Matthew 26:12-13 Even small acts of obedience have wide spread effects. Romans 1:5 Obedience comes from faith. Romans 6:15-16 Obedience leads to righteousness. Romans 8:5-6 Those walking in obedience have their mind set on God's desires. 2Corinthians 9:6 The extent that we sow in obedience will determine the extent we reap in Blessings. 2Corinthians 9:13 Men will Praise God for the obedience that accompanies our faith. Ephesians 4:24 We were created to be like God. We walk this out in obedience leading to holiness. Phillipians 2:13 It is God working in us that prompts us to be obedient and fullfill His good purpose. Phillipians 4:9 What you have learned, heard or seen from God, walk it out in obedience and you will be Blessed with Peace. 2Timothy 2:20-21 God is able to use the obedient person for His noblest purpose. 1Peter 1:13-14 Prepare your mind for obedience which leads to holiness. 1Peter 2:21-22 those who walk in obedience walk in Jesus' footsteps. 1John 2:3-6 Obedience makes God's love complete in us and enables us to walk as Jesus did.
