I'm writing lenses on Squidoo and would love you to join me

Hello there,  I just wanted to stop in and say hello and share a wonderful place with you where you can write about anything under the sun, it's called Squidoo. Just click on the link below and start your own lens.

I'm writing lenses on Squidoo and would love you to join me.

If you have a story, which we all do, or have a passion about a hobby and want to share it with the world why not do it.  Besides you can set up your account on Squidoo to give a percentage of any royalties you receive from your writings to your favorite charity.  What a great way to help others in doing what you love to do which is writing.

Do have fun and have a beautiful day!

My New Listings on Etsy!!!

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I posted on this blog...so sorry.  I actually now am working part-time for Dr. Dawn an awesome Chiropractor here in Oak Harbor so my time now is spent helping her at the office.  If you have ever thought of seeing a chiropractor for any of your aches and pains, she is a miracle worker let me tell you.  First hand I see the patients come in hurting and leave with a smile.

But I am still doing my cross stitch patterns and am very excited to announce more listings at my Etsy shop "Mary's Stitch Shop".  Be sure and browse around the shop, there are new patterns and some old ones that I am sure you will love to stitch.  Hope you are enjoying the warmer weather and are getting to enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.  Here in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island we are so spoiled I think God each and every day.

Until next time, be safe and God Bless!

Howdy! Fall is in the air here on Whidbey Island with the color of leaves changing into the beautiful yellow orange and rust colors. Fall is such a beautiful time of the year, with the crisp cooler air, taking walks is so much more enjoyable. Today I wanted to share a beautiful letter I read the other day. It goes like this: Dear Friend, how are you? I just had to send a note to tell you how much I care about you. I saw you yesterday as you were talking with your friends, I waited all day hoping you would want to talk with me too. I gave you a sunset to close your day and a cool breeze to rest you and I waited. You never came. It hurt me, but I still love you because I am your friend. I saw you sleeping last night and longed to touch your brow, so I spilled moonlight upon your face. Again I waited, wanting to rush down so we could talk. I have so many gifts for you! You awoke and rushed to work - my tears were in the rain. If you would only listen to me. I love you!! I try to tell you in blue skies and in the quiet green grass. I whisper it in the leaves on the trees and breathe it in the colors of flowers, shout it to you in mountain streams, give the birds love songs to sing. I clothe you with warm sunshine and perfume the air with nature scents. My love for you is deeper than the ocean and bigger than the biggest need in your heart. Ask me! Talk with me. Please don't forget me. I have so much to share with you but I won't hassle you any further. It is YOUR decision. I have chosen you and I will wait. I love you - your friend JESUS.

Lets help those that need help shall we........

Greetings everyone - spring has finally arrived on Whidbey Island, it's still a bit chilly in the mornings but in the afternoons we are experiencing some very nice warmer temps.

Today I want to bring awareness of the fact that there are so many people in this world that go to bed hungry. It's a shame and just should not happen, but it does. I encourage you to spread that word of Hope and add your blogs to this website so that donations can be made for those that are in need, I did. Why not be a blessing today. Jesus said that if you give to the least of these you are giving to him.....so add your blog on this website and then choose to donate the revenue from it to a charity of your choice. Give today and be a Blessing to someone so they do not go to bed hungry. Thank you!

Announcing my new cross stitch website

Greetings and blessings to you all. Here is it the beginning of a new month, it's June here in Oak Harbor and we are still having fairly chilly and rainy weather, when will it get warmer. I know it's right around the corner, at least that is my hope. I wanted to share a new website with you where I feature my art and photography cross stitch patterns. It's really neat because you can upload the patterns right after you pay via paypal. Here is a sneak preview of one of my beautiful watercolor patterns of "Sunny Sunflowers". Hope you get a chance to visit - remember to Praise God in all that you do, because he is with you no matter what you are going through....he will never leave you nor forsake you so be encouraged.....Blessings!

Happy Memorial Day

Today is such a special day for those who have loved ones in the military and for those who have lost loved ones. I have a son who is still in the Navy and I am so very proud and thank him today for his service to our country. I also lift up in prayer those families who have someone overseas right now serving away from their families. These are tough times and it's only by God's grace they can we get through it. I pray for the safety of those brave men and women to keep fighting the good fight of faith and the enemy and may God send his Angels to protect them each and every day. In the meantime watch this very cool video of my son doing an FA-18 demonstration at an air show a few years ago. I was there and it was amazing, it's only by God's grace that after he fought in Iraq and Afghanistan that he came home safely to us, we are so grateful for him and Praise God for his protection always. May God be the Glory and thank you son for your sacrifices that you have made for us. We love you son! Video
